In regards to Syndergaard, who checks in at No. 10 on this year’s list, Mayo says: ”He could end up being the best player in the deal, though it may take more time for him to develop.” Mayo told MetsBlog’s Matthew Cerrone in December that Syndergaard is ahead of where Zack Wheeler at a similar age.
