The Mets, Dodgers and Braves are among six teams to show interest in free-agent infielder Jack Wilson, according to SI.com’s Jon Heyman.

Matthew Cerrone: Well, I suppose it’s a good sign that the Braves are interested in bringing back Wilson after trading for him last summer. He isn’t much of a hitter, to say the least, But, he still plays an outstanding infield. He can play shortstop and second base, and even played four games at third last season. I can’t imagine the Mets see him as a starter over Ruben Tejada or Daniel Murphy, be it at second or short, so much as he gives them an additional option.

Wilson, 34, hit just .243 with a .274 OBP and just 9 extra base hits in 79 games between the Braves and Mariners last season.
