Good luck kid. You're going to need all you can get. I'm rooting for ya!Chris Smith never impressed me. ChildsPunchedKobe 5pts chris smith the next jeremy lin. smh KnickelusKnickleby 5pts this Season is a Circus why not being back Chris Smith to add insult to Injuries ( pun intended )why Murry not getting any burn, beats mei hate the fact knowing we can still make the playoffs at some point lol zebeto 5pts ..wow ......this SEASON is like a high speed multi car pile up on the freeway , but for some odd reason I will continue to stare . rico 5pts I think the recalled smith to let the NBA see that they really signed him. I doubt they will play him. I hope they give Murry a shot but I don't think Woody trusts him enough yet. Remember Woody is fighting for his job. chuco 5pts If we lose tomorrow I'm not watching another game till woodson is fired Brian Webster 5pts The question shouldn't be who will get the most mins cause thats easy it'll be Udrih. The more interesting question is who will get the least. Sadly I believe it'll still be Murry. MeloStat301 5pts CHRIS SMITH IS BACK.... NYKnickerBocker 5pts Knicks truly are the Walking Dead chuco 5pts Id rather have no luck than bad luck NYKnickerBocker 5pts 9 out of 10 doctors agree - Knicks are back! orlando_knickfan 5pts TysonRayPrigsKmartSTATMettaFor any team, that would be hard to overcome. orlando_knickfan 5pts Al Iannazzone @Al_IannazzoneKnicks say Kenyon Martin will miss at least two weeks after an MRI confirmed he has a strained abdominal. bluprint13 5pts "Move makes sense" is as a clueless statement as Mike Woodson's coaching in the final seconds in the Garden last night. fasheezee 5pts If Woodson is still the coach I'm not watching. I really can't stand the guy. He is taking my team and turning them into a bunch of bums. SHIZZ!!I ds2488 5pts Chris Smith playing over Toure Murry would be a real lowpoint in my long time as a Knicks fan. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but I'm prepared for the worst. This whole season has been one low point after the other so far. At least when we sucked during Isiah/Dantoni years we knew we were gonna suck. We were a joke and much of it could be written off as comedy or rebuilding.Right now, this isn't funny. This is sad. I actually thought this team would be good, that they'd be even better than last year. Instead, right now, it's looking like it's gonna be a chore to simply get to 40 wins. And the ever present "Dolan Panic Trade" is looming right around the corner. Who knows what it will be, what form it will take, how much of our future we will give up for someone not remotely worth it?Sad times right now. My only optimism comes down to firing this clown of a coach and getting Chandler back. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts There are cracks showing in Woody's goatee. orlando_knickfan 5pts The Knicks are adamant about not trading any more first-round picks in future trades, a source said. Yahoo! Sports Bobby Blazes 5pts No way chris smith its time to give lin murry a chance to ball Knicks_Fanatic 5pts Tommy Beer ✔ @TommyBeer This Knicks season has had more unbelievable, far-fetched narratives than the latest season of 'Sons of Anarchy' fasheezee 5pts @MeloStat301 NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! tommy2b 5pts @OLD_KNICK unfortunately due to a CBA technicality he can't be included in any trades until Jan 15th. And I'd be shocked if he was traded with a positive return. Most likely we'd have to trade him+a 2nd round pick for a scrub with an expiring contract. Mr.Boots 5pts @NYKnickerBocker 9 out of 10 doctors agree - Knicks are on their back. ds2488 5pts @orlando_knickfan eh...For most teams they wouldn't be so reliant on Ray, Prigs, Kmart, Stat, and Metta. Ray and Pablo are backup pgs on most teams, Kmart and Stat are backup bigs playing limited minutes, and Metta...is he even a rotation player on most teams anymore? I'm not sure. NYKnickerBocker 5pts @orlando_knickfan LOL. you gotta laugh at this ish for sake of not going crazy. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @orlando_knickfan If it wasn't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all. I find it hard to believe that 36 year old Prigioni will only miss two weeks with a broken big toe. ds2488 5pts @orlando_knickfan When it rains it pours...K mart, Pablo, Stat...who's next? ds2488 5pts @knickfan2 What an underrated Woodson "coaching" blunder that was. Really came right out and showed a lot of confidence in Shump lol. And it's all been downhill from there. fasheezee 5pts @Knicks_Fanatic His goatee looks like a ba jy na hair. tommy2b 5pts @orlando_knickfan translation : knicks are not improving this roster until 2015 SheSaidSpikeWho 5pts @Knicks_Fanatic There's no show better than the Knicks...comedy, drama, horror, romance...they have it all. Muhammad Gretzky 5pts @Dareel NessNo they weren't lost, Mr. Gortat. That's been the Knicks help defense in a nutshell for the past three years. And the biggest culprit was guarding you -- 15 feet from the basket when you don't even have a perimeter game. But hey, once Bargs don't have to move muscle on help defense, everything is peachy in his book even if the game is on the line. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @Dareel Ness The saddest part about all this is that former Gator, Bradley Beal, is all of 20 years. He had more basketball savvy than the entire veteran laden Knick team that was on the court. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @knickfan2 Water on the brain. orlando_knickfan 5pts @knickfan2 He's been in and out of the lineup recently. orlando_knickfan 5pts @ds2488 Melo tommy2b 5pts I'm going with "Chandler re-injures himself trying to come back too soon" SheSaidSpikeWho 5pts @OLD_KNICK @ds2488 What if he does nothing? Lol NYKnickerBocker 5pts @Kojo Brown@Knicks_Fanatic It reminds me of those old toys where you drew the beard on the face with the magnet stick and metal shavings. ds2488 5pts @tommy2b @orlando_knickfan Totally on board with that. This roster isn't good enough to win a ring anyway, we had our shot to at least put a scare into the Heat/East last year and blew it in the Indy series. We'll have a ton of cap space and some good assets if we hold onto our remaining picks, Timmy, and even Shump. No reason to blow it up for what? A shot to win one playoff series? Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @SheSaidSpikeWho@Knicks_Fanatic I missed the romance part and quite frankly, would rather not know!!!!!! Muhammad Gretzky 5pts @Knicks_Fanatic@Dareel Ness He plays the way you hoped Shump would. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @Brian Webster@tommy2b My favorite is this one; This is also a case, though, of who would the Knicks want from the Bulls? Most likely Taj Gibson would be of interest to the Knicks, but they'd have to find a way to make the salaries work. Perhaps something like Gibson and the Charlotte Bobcats' first for Smith, Kenyon Martin and Player X. This guy make the trade gurus here look reasonable. Brian Webster 5pts @tommy2b Either that or the guys insane. He had Suns trading Goran Dragic for him. Only deal that had a snowballs chance in hell was JR and Tyson to Lakers for Gasol but that's because it was an actual rumor mentioned elsewhere. tommy2b 5pts must be written by a knicks fan. jr has no value at all in a trade. tommy2b 5pts link doesnt work for me... humor piece? fasheezee 5pts @Sandro Guedes @Muhammad Gretzky You won`t love Love either he was 9 for 26 from the floor. An he can`t drive, and plays no def Muhammad Gretzky 5pts @orlando_knickfan@Sandro GuedesYou know what...maybe. Melo signs with a contender in his prime and the Knicks shed major salary and structure a well balanced team with two big name FA. What this team lacks are players that differentiates themselves from others. Everyone shoots at an alarming rate. Everyone gets beat on dribble penetration. Defense is fair weathered. Outside of Melo, there are no players from the SF to the guards who attack the basket on a consistent basis. No one really stands a part outside of Melo and STAT and they suffer from fair weathered defense as well -- to put it modestly. fasheezee 5pts @orlando_knickfan @Sandro Guedes Wrong. orlando_knickfan 5pts @Sandro Guedes It may be for the best on all sides. SheSaidSpikeWho 5pts @Sandro Guedes @Knicks_Fanatic @SheSaidSpikeWho Exactly. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @Sandro Guedes@Knicks_Fanatic@SheSaidSpikeWho I don't know. It was sung, "Learning to love yourself, is the greatest love of all"Ali movie theme song in the 1970's for you youngsters. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @Sandro Guedes@Knicks_Fanatic Parsons always puzzled me. He was the SEC player of the year and didn't get drafted until the second round. His game has always been a guy that is above average in all aspects. I saw him play down here in Florida and thought he was a sure first round pick. Knicks_Fanatic 5pts @Muhammad Gretzky@Knicks_Fanatic@Dareel Ness Billy Donovan knows how to coach and has his players ready to go. There are a lots of Gators in the NBA with Beal and Parsons are just the latest to make the leap. Plus, they wear orange and blue!
