Josh Edgin

Edgin to see doctor this week

Josh Edgin‘s left elbow is still “pretty sore,” Terry Collins said Sunday, and he will see a doctor this week (MLB, Aug. 31).

Edgin, who hasn’t pitched since Aug. 23,  acknowledged he had elbow inflammation last week.

He has a 1.40 ERA and 0.896 WHIP over 25 2/3 innings this season.

Way to edit the post with no acknowledgement.

@bpilgrim11 For those late to the party, original link said "right elbow" even though Edgin is lefty. Classic error for a sloppy blog. Done.

Is it really Edgin's non pitching right elbow that is bothering him or is this a typical Metsblog error not knowing which hand a pitcher on their own team throws with?

Edgin the lefty can't pitch because his right elbow is sore?

Is Edgin currently on the DL? If not he should be
