Mets activate Cedeno, option Ramirez to AAA

The Mets activated Ronny Cedeno from the 15-day disabled list today and optioned RHP Elvin Ramirez back to Triple-A Buffalo.

Ramirez struggled in five games with the Mets, having allowed 11 hits, seven runs and eight walks in seven innings.

June 22, 1:28 pm: Terry Collins told WFAN today that Cedeno will be activated from the disabled list this afternoon and be in tonight’s starting lineup at shortstop.

Cedeno, who has been on the disabled list with a strained calf, has gone 5-for-29 during his rehab stint with Buffalo.

Jesper Fast had over 2 minutes more even strength time than Nash?!? WTF is that? Fast and Hags played the same minutes as Nash as well. There's no reason Rick Nash isn't playing 19 minutes a game. He's a horse in his prime. Ride him!!!

@irishnyr94 I agree if they can get a good center before the trade deadline that would be awesome. The Rangers played well and when the Bruins turned it up in the third the Rangers responded. Only one complaint....HIT THE EMPTY NET!!!    LGR!
