Injury updates on Mejia, Carrasco, and Beato

Jenrry Mejia will throw 75 pitches in a “structured setting,” after which he could appear in a minor league rehabilitation game, reports Adam Rubin of ESPN New York.

Mejia underwent Tommy John Surgery on his right elbow last May.

Meanwhile, D.J. Carrasco is playing in minor league games for Single-A St. Lucie, but has yet to pitch back-to-back days.

Lastly, Rubin says Pedro Beato, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right rotation cuff, could face batters for the first time in four or five days.
