8:19 pm: Francisco is expected to begin his rehab on Wednesday for Double-A Binghamton, the team said on Twitter.

Francisco was to begin a rehab assignment tonight in Single-A, but it was postponed after he experienced pain in his knee.

Collins said Francisco would likely be pushed back at least five or six days. However, Francisco told Mike Mazzeo of ESPN New York that he could begin pitching as soon as tomorrow.

Francisco has been on the disabled list since late June with a strained oblique. He was set to begin a rehab assignment last week with Single-A St. Lucie, but was shutdown after he aggravated the injury.
