  • Johan Santana tossed 84 pitches against 19 hitters and let up no runs and two hits during five innings.
  • Ramon Ramirez, Jon Rauch, Francisco Rodriguez and Tim Byrdak pitched scoreless baseball in relief.
  • Byrdak entered the game with one out and a runner on third. He struck out the two batters he faced to end the inning.
  • In the sixth inning, Andres Torres walked on a full count. Daniel Murphy singled to right, moving Torres to third. David Wright then singled to left, scoring Torres for the game’s only run.
  • Andres Torres left the game with a strained calf muscle.

I have zero interest in Spezza.  The compensation it would cost isn't worth having him for just one season and he won't be worth the money it will take to keep him longer.

I don't think the Rangers will have the pieces to get him... I guess it depends on how desperate the Sens get to move him and what the market place is offering.

Why are you guys bringing this up now, can the Rangers just play Game 4, and wait to post this after the season is over.
