Zack Wheeler, who allowed a career-high seven runs during his last start, will look to help the Mets avoid a three-game sweep Wednesday in Miami at 12:40 p.m. ET.

Wheeler (1-3, 5.13 ERA) will be opposed by Tom Koehler (3-2, 2.41 ERA) for the Marlins.

The game will air on SNY, and can be heard on WOR 710 AM radio.

Later in the day, Jacob deGrom will make his seventh start of the season for Triple-A Las Vegas.

Big picture , we are still 500. Let's get a win , and let the pieces fall where they may. Guys will be going to the pen, starters called up, SS will have to be addressed. Maybe we can make a run. But the current team is not strong enough to do so. A strong performance for Wheeler would be nice too

Don't get to rough on the Mets in these past 2 series.  They played the best hitting team in the bast hitting park this past weekend, and now they are playing the team with a 16-5 record at home.  The Marlins do not lose at home.  Just wait; we'll be smashing the phillies at home in 2 days!

@eavdr10  Yep. Painful to have lost those 6-0 and 3-0 leads, but the bullpen will indeed by addressed after the Super 2 deadline.  Now, about those bats...ugh.
