What’s on tap Sunday, Aug. 17…

The Mets and Cubs continue their four-game, wrap-around series at Citi Field on Sunday.

Rafael Montero (0-3, 6.12 ERA) will face RHP Jake Arrieta (6-4, 2.77) at 1:10 pm ET on SNY.

Jacob deGrom is expected to throw a bullpen session before Sunday’s game. He threw on flat ground Saturday for the first time since being placed on the disabled list with rotator-cuff tendinitis.

In case you missed it…

Vic Black bailed out Jon Niese in the seventh inning as the Mets held on to beat the Cubs, 7-3, on Saturday at Citi Field.

Frustrating that this was deGrom's turn in the rotation.  Montero hasn't shown much, though admittedly it's early.

Hopefully with Wright out, Collins can rearrange the lineup without upsetting anybody. Maybe move Murph to 3 where he belongs. Move Granderson down to 6 where his power is better suited. And move MDD and Lagares up to lead off and 2.

You're paying your #8 hitter $15 million? You've got a singles hitter batting third?

Try again.

They retaliated for Wright getting hit.
