It's been good series so far, the Mets have to cut down on those swings, the Cards have 20 more hits in 2 less Games! Terry is clueless!

Very interesting division so far, a month in. No one is running away with anything yet. Top clubs struggling, weak teams holding their own. Only 3.5 games separate the entire division? Who knew?

I think if the seats in Citi Field were painted Blue and Orange it would give the stadium some soul rather than a cookie cutter stadium, like every other new one. The reason the Mets are not good at home is that there is no sense of home in this stadium yet. No one has been behind them to support them since Citi opened.

I remember a nice NIESE dominating those cruddy red birds the day after Johan no hit them. A little bit of that and a breakout game from grandyman and we will all be singing through the pain.

More good pitching goes down the tube last night. Deja Vu all over again. Groundhog day. Einstein's theory of insanity. Keep doing the same thing expecting a different result. Me and all of us in front of the TV expecting a Met win.

This is not necessarily atypical...cream eventually rises to the top.

You know what would give the stadium some soul?  A winning team...which would put people in the seats, therefore no one would notice what color they are...Do you really believe the reason the Mets aren't good at home is because the stadium is lacking in flair?  This isn't Chotchkies (from Office Space)...its the MLB.  The Yankees new stadium is like a museum and yet they have been in playoff contention every year since it was built...

@Mark Shulman Excellent point. Wilpon grudgingly gave up some of his Dodgerness to tart it up in supposedly Mets fare, but nothing about the place as yet especially says: "Mets," the way the Polo Grounds & Shea did, including -- and especially -- the team itself. There's no there, there.

This will be a tough one. Wacha has nasty stuff! Seeing Grandy breakout and getting a classic Niese outing would be special. LGM!

@Michael J. Fenster  Actually Dickey dominated those cruddy red birds the day after Johan no hit them (I know that because I was at that Saturday game and was pissed I missed the no hitter by one game!) ...

@Bob Burket  EVERYBODY predicted this season there would be a lot of 2-0, 3-2, 2-1 kinda games and it's been exactly that.  Hopefully one day all the bats will wake up and give the Reds, Braves, Nats a shellacking.

I'm not a person who is a "coach blamer", quite the opposite but I think this guy we have may have the hitters over-thinking.
