With all the hype about young pitching, I only look forward to seeing Wheeler and deGrom; the other 3 starts through the rotation, I have absolutely no interest.  Gee and Niese have fallen to beyond mediocre, and Colon is just here because the Mets couldn't eat enough of his contract to trade him.  I guess when Harvey (pray for good health) and Thor (pray for his development) get here, it will be exciting most nights.  I'd even prefer to see Montero pitch at this stage of the season.

It is still enjoyable to see Legares develop and hopefully watch Herrera blossom for a month as well as hopefully see some more improvement by d"Naured

Lets hope the Metsies don't continue with the error streak. Yesterday's game was probably the worst game of the season with everyone from the manager to players committing errors. It's over....lets get a win tonight. Lets Go Mets!

Looking like 74 wins again this season.  I'm not pinning this all on Terry Collins, but we need some new blood.

While rereading the Book of Crazy Dragon I stumbled upon an epiphany. You see Ladies and Gents we have had it all wrong, you see it's supposed to be funny. It turns out Sandy Alderson is the Mel Brooks of Major League Baseball, and Terry Collins is his Gene Wilder. It's all quite stunning really when you think about. Worthy of some prestigious award I'm sure. I mean look pitching, hitting , running and fielding is easy, comedy is hard.

What I want to know is when is this team going to start showing improvements....how can you keep rebuilding to supposedly get better when actually the team is worse

Where are the indications that this team is going to compete in the division when The Nats, Braves and Marlins are all better than them? And I am sure will make the necessary moves to stay better, while the Mets dont...

YES, it could happen, the METS could challenge the Phillies for LAST PLACE and WIN!!! That would be so awesome :} At least we can be good at something, right?

Okay so the equipment manager forgot to pack the gloves for the trip to Miami, get over it. I understand the ball boy was fired in response.T he plane trip down to Florida Sunday night was a good time had by all but they ran out of excedrin Monday morning thus the ugly results. I'm sure Collins will respond in his usual decisive way by completely ignoring it. The magical season continues.

Good to see some people dealing with it

Yes, but we'll win 74 with a lower payroll.  Apparently, that's what counts as progress for this Mets management.

To get to a winning record, a new mentality is needed.  Terry is not the right person to lead this team and demand results.

@shea The Astros actually admit their mistake. Their GM took the blame for some of his additions. The GM of our team blames the fans and the EVP of ticket sales

@Jim Yager  Well, our biggest chance in that department is, ironically, that we don't have any more games against them this season.  They are the one team we consistently win against...

@matmil All correct, except the ball boy was not fired.  There is zero accountability with this team.

And the ball boy don't forget that scoundrel

@matmil  Mr. Met expects a pink slip every time he clocks in at the stadium.
