With the way Cain was cruising through the line-up last night it WAS clutch when Murph hit that two run homer - we even had the lead! What a shock that we blew a late inning lead though. This team has become so predictable.

I still can not believe Warthan came out to the mound in that spot last night.  It disrupted any cadence that Niese had left in him.  Not letting him come back out the next inning was a real kick in the teeth for Niece I think.   Idiots!

I rolled my ankle pretty good yesterday morning running with my dog, so i'm on the couch with my ankle up and iced, bored out of my skull.   So I sent Bud Selig an email with the following as a last paragraph:

"In summation Mr. Selig, your National League product in the largest media market in the United States has become a laughing stock.  It continues to flounder and falter with these gentlemen at the helm, but more importantly to the other 29 owners for whom you work, this asset also continues to devalue. Three years ago you had the wherewithal to initiate proceedings to oust Mr. McCort in Los Angeles under somewhat similar circumstances.  So, a precedent for your interjection has been set.  What will it take for you to act in this situation?"

And how about a promotion for matt reynolds. Batting .371 and leading all of AA in hitting

If we get swept in both of these series, it would be a perfect time to fire collins and promote wally and give him a chance to coach this team while the season still has some chance left to it. It could be just the kind of shake up these players need

In typical METS fashion, they take 4 out of 5 from the Phillies and them drop the next 4 game, and, counting :{ The sad thing is all I want from this team is a 500 record, can they give me that? The answer is, I doubt it :{ Not like this they can't.....

What's on tap is that the PTBNL has become the highlight of the season. Ouch.

I'd think you'd have the threaten a lawsuit to get his attention. Don't know of any basis for one, though.

@Dave D'Agnese I'm not a fan of putting Wally in control, but dear god they need to fire Terry.

@Dave

I've never felt like Backman was the answer, but I cannot listen to Terry Collins any longer.

@openmind6 His Post Game comments are starting to sound like a broken record from a manager that has no answers.
