The Mets are off Monday.

They open a three-game series against the Brewers at Citi Field on Tuesday night.

After a collision at home plate during a run-scoring wild pitch on Thursday, Noah Syndergaard was diagnosed with a sprained A/C joint in his left (non-pitching) shoulder. Syndergaard can resume throwing toward the end of this week.

Eric Young, Jr. had a setback testing out his injured hamstring, and will not be activated from the disabled list Monday when eligible.

Dillon Gee, who is on the disabled list with a lat injury, recently resumed throwing on flat ground. Terry Collins says he’s at least 2-3 weeks away from returning from the disabled list.

Looks like a Long Hot Summer, with no place to go!!!


After starting this road trip with a 4-1 record, they come back 4-7 (including getting swept by the worst team in the league) and being on the precipice of .500, but then falling to their worst record of the year, 7 games under.  Just pathetic.
