Collin's puts Grandy in center and Abreu in right field in one of the biggest infields in the league?  Why even call up Kirk if he is now going to ride the pine when he  is the fastest Center fielder you have?  Put Grandy in right. Put Capt Kirk in center.  Collin's is an idiot but you already know that! Gawd I am starting to sound like a Geico commercial.  LOL

Good to see Tejada out there at SS. You wouldn't want to lose that stick from the lineup. He is our future

Call up TDA while he's hot and let him play. Move him up in the order. I still think we won't see Gee until after All Star break. We all know how these Met injuries tend to linger. Let's just call it the 'Frank Francisco Effect.'  That's really not fair to Gee, who has always been a gamer. But you all know what I mean. And did anyone else see Jose Reyes lollygag to first as he made the last out of yesterday's game.

I think TDA needs to have a more time in AAA to be convinced he belongs at the MLB level because there's nothing left for him to prove.  I'm concerned about bringing him up now because he expect himself to continue at that torrid pace.  he may feel like he's being yo-yo'd... just let him play with no pressure.. He's been a top 10 prospect and traded for two cy young winners in the last three years, while being injured in each of those years.  Just let him enjoy the game for a while.  Let him have fun and remember that he loves baseball and he's good at it.  Now it's just a "job" to him a job with a lot of pressure.  I say keep him down for another month at least.

would love to know what Matt Cerrone, thinks?

D'Arnaud has 6 doubles, 6 homeruns, 12 runs scored and 15 rbi in the past 10 games bring him up now !!!!! Are they waiting for him to have a couple bad games before bringing him up? I want him to come up full of confidence and relaxed at the plate, like I'm fairly sure he is now.

In case you missed it, the Mets squeezed out one run last night, a testimony to both the Marlin's pitching and the anemic Met offense. There's no reason to believe the Mets will break out anytime soon.

@Kevin VanTassell  Knowing Terry he would probably ride the pine to cool him off before he gets to play a game
