"can be heard on WOR 710"  Isn't it also "aired" on WOR? Like you listen and hear such and such is "on the air"?

There's a 0% chance this game gets played.

Anyone see the pandering Mets letter the team released?  They do so many stupid things it really is mind-boggling.

Anyone know why WOR does not have a live stream of the game?

I think I have come up with a way to get all four outfielders playing time.  Bear with me because I'm not a major league manager or a member of the all-star front office.  Have Lagares, CHRIS Young, and Granderson start and let EY play when one of them needs a rest.  This way, our better players play more often. Crazy stuff, right?

Time to get a big bat , either by trade or signing, NOW IS THE TIME. Keep it going.

Bartolo Colon should show Mike Puma what he has by making him bat against him. Bet he chickens out.

Just postpone the game now and let the team get on an earlier flight.

I think the hitting is going to pick up more than the pitching is going to drop off.  Nobody is really hitting to their potential.

I don't know if it's a coincidence, but it seems like the team is more focused since Ike got traded.

We can't face Hamels all the time. Kendrick has a way of giving Mets fits. Hope they can jump on him tonight.

Get the umbrellas and the brooms out. LETS GO METS!

We need to get as many wins in April-June because we know what happens with this team as of late in July-September. I'd be very let down if we were 7 games over .500 by the ASB only to find us 15 out of first at the end of the season...

What do Crystal Ball say about tonight Mets game?

Crystal Ball say Mets 3 Phillies 0 behind some brilliant pitching by Colon and stellar defense all around!

Any update on the Hanrahan watch? Valverde-dice k-farnsworth with Torres pitching even on off days is not sustainable. Really interested in Sandy's plan for the young arms come June

Mets do have a good problem even if Super Two came up now and even though Noah S is pitching lights out there really at this moment not a major need to change pitchers in rotation at this point. Noah would benefit to pitch in Las Vegas for awhile so he can be at a top of a rotation and getting regular starts full time . No need to rush him.

@ac0814  yeah, no chance. Only thing worse than an off day, is a rain out. At least the Rangers will be on.

@ifti99  I don't think TheFan had a live stream either, I could be wrong though. I remember trying to listen to the games on the website or through multiple apps while at work, and they just played a replay of Francessa or someone else. The MLB at Bat app or Sirius radio will give you the stream. MLB at Bat audio is only $3 or $4 a month I believe.

@ifti99 I'd love to know where the post is on why we don't have FM simulcasts as we were promised.  I sent a letter into this site and was given a very rude response.

@alczervik  This problem will work itself out. Someone will start to struggle or get hurt. For now, it's tough to sit any one of these 4 guys. I don't like the 4 man rotation either, but we're going to have to live with it for a little while.

@alczervik

Right now EY is outperforming Granderson.  I wouldn't mind if they rotated regularly until one of them starts playing better.

@Ken McManus I think a pitcher will get a hit and eventually Grandy will have a better average than Tejeda.

Teams always look focused when the pitching is good and they're winning. Ike has nothing to do with it. Duda would really be the only one affected - good or bad. Not really a Duda guy, but I'll admit he's been Ok but that's about it.

@nymetsrule  its up to the Wilpons and if they are willing/able to spend to improve the team as the months go by. Soon the pitching wont be as dominate and the mets will have to rely on scoring runs on a consistent basis and right now you can't count on that which means Wilpons/Sandy need to go and help this team at some point before it becomes too late and the losing starts happening again. As they say its not how you start its how you finish the season. If the mets wind up under .500 again no one will remember this pretty good start.

@hawkeye @alczervik 3 and a half weeks doesn't erase years of data.  C'mon, it's very simple....EYJ plays 3 times a week and spells the 3 better options.  How is this hard?

Pete Brilvitch

The Ike haters are coming out as I've seen that comment in a number of places. Personally, I would have preferred that the Mets kept Ike over Duda. Even if that had happened, we all know the 1B answer is outside the organization. Hopefully, Duda does a decent enough job until we can obtain that answer.

@mike23 @nymetsrule  This might be the year, though, when our pitching does NOT flame out, given how many arms we have that are almost ready to join the rotation or pen.

mike23
mike23

@nymetsrule @Ron W. Davis  its not the pitching that is the concern its the offense and how consistent they can/will be, wilpons/sandy are going to most likely have to add to it as the months go by.
