Anybody home? Harang pitched a shut-out his last time out.

I smell a no hitter and travis hits for the cycle! (it's 10:30am a guy can dream can't he?)

I like the Mets chances tonight. Braves coming off tough series and are playing a little over their heads. Met play better on the road. Pitching match up favors us and as I see an undisciplined hitting type Braves team having problems with Colon.

Starting first baseman future bench player Lucas Duda will not hit 2 homers.

Terry Collins said there are no answers. What he is saying is that because he is so stupid he has no answers. I can live with a subpar roster and broke owners. I can live with a washed up GM . But there is no reason not to get a good manager.

Mets record at Turner Field is 50-94. Nice way to start the trip. Facts is facts.

Oh lord ..Mets could be buried by the time they return.  If that happens, I hope they bring up the first of the rookie pitchers, Montero, and slot him into the pen.  Let him start there. Love to see him. This season may well be about the debut of all the kids.

Not excited about the 9 game road trip. If we are lucky and everything goes just right maybe 5-4.

How long until Abreu is up and Brown is sent down? He's old and hitting at Vegas, recipe for an Alderson-Collins promotion.

Looking forward to Montero's 2nd start. He was awesome in his first start. Let's see if he can match it up. Oh, also, Bartolo will pitch OK but will have a no decision. However, Mets will win the game 5-3.

No excuse to lose this game. They're a better road team, and its Aaron Harrang!!! Maybe TdA will get a hit the series and contribute to the team.

how long do you think it will take to re-sign Mike Baxter, the Dodgers released him, after all, he is a Collins favorite?

I thought that was what the last 3 seasons were about. Time to win.

He had a no-hitter going in the 7th inning of his last start , so you never know. I actually thought he looked okay during his brief tenure with the Mets last season.

It's the seventh game of the year, so I'm not going to get worked up either way.

He's hitting? He's barely played.

Harrang will shut down the Mets lineup. It's painfully predictable. If I could somehow bet big money on the Mets, I could stop working!

They're playing at Turner field that always seems like a reason for the mets to lose.

Already signed him. He's in the first base mix now. Sandy wants to "see how that shakes out" before making any further decisions about first.

Small sample size my friend... You're kidding yourself if you think he pitches below a 4 era this year

@nolrog @Bob Burket  4-5 would be a successful road trip.  if they win 4 of 9 on the road, and 5 of 9 at home over the season, they go .500 (math!).  this is the best case scenario for the current roster....and I don't see it happening.

@B Rizos He's the sort that can have a burst of good and then drop off. So, yeah, but we very well might be inside that "small" window with this start.
