This is one of the best videos ever produced by my friends at SNY.TV…
In it, they walk through Robin Ventura’s Grand Slam Single through the eyes of people who were in attendance that night at Shea Stadium, including soundbites from myself, Jason Fry, Ted Berg, Bobby Valentine and Jim Duquette:
What a night! It is easily my favorite Shea Stadium moment. I was too young to be there in 1986. And, for all the fun of 2000 and 2006, those 15 innings in 1999, with the rain, chess match and rivalry with the Braves, it all made it an unbelievable experience. I think this video captures that, and proves I am not the only person who feels this way… Enjoy.
