Any chance we can get the FULL show online some day?

Out-of-market folks like me that don't get SNY (other than for MBLEI or MLBtv games) are craving the chance to see it!

Does Seth Everett know anything about the Mets? David Cone was acquired for Robert Person in '96? God almighty......

This is single-handedly significantly better than pretty much any other television show on this network.

It would be fun to hear Gary and Howie call a Mets game together one day.  Guess it will never happen.

KB is awesome!  Now you see him everywhere,  he's already gone national and will likely not be long for Met broadcasts.

This was fun. They should have gave it more time. It felt rushed and they didn't give all the correct answers.

Still fun.

Kieth jumped at the Gregg Jefferies answer haha

I think two of the missed answers were Marty Barrett (last out of '86 Series) and Mike Piazza (only postseason HR off Rivera), correct?

KB's suit was just horrendous! Guess he was going for the Gene Rayburn look!

I liked it a lot more than I thought that I would. I guess I was expecting something silly on a par with Jeopardy's celebrity week, but everyone seemed to be trying their best. I would have liked to have seen the full answers, not that there really was time to give them. Online content could take care of that: either something to sync up when watching or at least a list of the questions and answers. There was just too much to look on Baseball Reference during the show.

I felt badly for Howie. As well versed in Mets lore as he is, to be saddled with 2 guys who have zippo Mets history or connection & were totally in over their heads simply made it unfair to Rose. No wonder he took a 'Whatever!' posture much of the time. At the very least, Howie should have been able to bring back Ed Coleman for the night! Eddie Baseball would have made it more of a fair fight!

The TV guys cheated When darling said Gary Payton  he was initially moved on and Kieth said Olerude he was wrong and they came back to him he said Ziele.

Show was lots of fun. But I am wondering if SethEverett has ever watched a Met game!!

This was VERY silly, and A WHOLE LOTTA FUN! I enjoyed it immensely last night. I heard them talking about it in the booth the evening following taping it & they were all a little embarrassed & chagrined. They didn't need to be.

Putting my 52 years of Mets fanaticism against theirs, I finished mid-pack, maybe somewhat higher -- some of those Qs were really pretty tough. Was shocked at their being stumped by ones I knew...

Kevin was perfectly looney as the Looney Game Show Host.

Darling ended up as the overall winner… I didn't realize that he'd explored the overall franchise history quite as much as he has. His knowledge was deep & wide, beyond his playing years.

Keith was astounding! Struggled with any number of plays right at him, but still made an array of highlight reel saves that took my breath away. (Al Harazin?? NOBODY remembers Al Harazin, not even MRS. Harazin!)

From listening to Gary & Howie all these years spouting obscure facts & figures off the tops of their heads from Mets history almost daily, I was actually a bit stunned at either their dual stumbling or their being a bit cowed at being on camera -- which, granted, can be rather intimidating. They're used to doing only promos, etc. 'on camera.' They're usually off screen.

The cheesy bare studio antics w/the cameramen laughing & hilariously bad crowd noise just added to the fun of it. Reminded me of an old Soupy Sales segment, where what was happening on the studio floor was as much fun as the bits themselves…

Give WOR a rematch!!

Does anyone know if you can see the complete show online?

What a great idea! I don't know if this was original, tv guys vs radio, but this was great fun for the fans and I suspect it'll be copied in other cities and for teams of other sports.

Very well done... I thought I knew a ton of Mets history... Not..:)

Gary completely flaked on '69.  That was a bigger tell than all his correct answers.

That was a ridiculously awesome show.  It was like the ultimate beer money for Mets fans.  I was glad to see Gary, Keith and Ron win it, but I was also rooting for Howie also.  I wish they can do more a few more shows like that.

I agree

It mostly seemed like Gary & Ron against Howie (with Keith making an occasional contribution). Lewin seems like a nice guy, but I found it somewhat amazing for somebody announcing Mets baseball for a living that he guessed Carlos Delgado to Howie's clue of 1st Baseman for the 2000 National League Champions (as Delgado didn't join the team until 2006).

@noraerin14 Made me glad I don't catch the radio call. Must be a lot of dead air over there… but he sure had the smug smile working all show...

I thought Gary and Howie did just fine. I loved Ronnie holding a book like the studious ivy league person he is. That was great. I figured Keith will do just exactly what he did, stumble but answer key questions, like Harazin, Hunt, Jeffries and Wendell for the 1st round buzzer beater. I was glad to see Seth and Lewin get some right but not all. They haven't earned their right of passage b/c of their time in like the others like Howie, Gary, Keith & Ron. I was happy to see the tv broadcasters win, but happy to see Rose did what he did. It was great to see Gary and Howie captains too. I mean who else would be.

@hankincolo The only caveat being that almost all of this was driven by the personalities of the participants & the fun they clearly have with each other every day. Not many teams could do that. Imagine how awful this would be with Fran Healy involved or with the Yankee voices?? Yuck!

@Muhammad Qureshi I loved it too, and it was so much fun to watch it last night (even after a Mets loss). Kevin was an awesome host, bringing his usual energy and humor to it...man I wish he wasn't leaving.

@Muhammad Qureshi timed well actually especially given it was 3/4, so you can be philosophical about the loss and still have fun.
