I can't wait for Sandy's smug response to reporters after this series to put down the fans in some way and say how this team isn't bad....or...Collins, speaking in the most boring way possible, claiming they're still in it and you never know if you can rip-off a few wins in a desperate attempt to keep his job as long as possible...

I never thought I'd say this, but where are the Wilpons?  How do they let this continue?  I mean that question just from a business sense and not even in regard to passion for the team.  I haven't heard from them at all the entire season since the "they better" comment in response to Sandy's comments on "90 wins" - and what did he even mean by "they better"....or what?

I see no reason why Met fans should believe this team will get any better.  The worst thing they could do is nothing before the deadline.  They shouldn't be sellers to just get single A prospects, but they need to put together little pieces for next year to then be able to determine who to target in free agency...and when free agency comes, they can't let the market play-out...and that doesn't mean read the martket wrong and give a mediocre (at best) player a terrible contract because you think superior guys will get paid handsomely to later find out you were completely wrong.

Sandy will probably just sit on his hands and point to "run differential" though...

Man, rough series, team getting harder and harder to follow.
