Eric88 you gotta be kidding. For openers, while the power is lacking, most MLB hitters would LOVE to have this "off year"; secondly we've had no consistent production from 5-8 since the year started. Third, you try doing your job with a bad rotator. I'll agree that he's looked different; has the entire year and the rotator would certainly explain that. Let's not start slamming D-Wright yet; not when there are so many more worthy candidates for it.

If Wright was playing like it was his walk year which it would have been, we would be fighting or in 1st place. What bothers me is he said he always wanted to contend and now he is not largely due to himself. Was it all about money in reality? I wonder, he is play without that inner fire.

@William Martin No one is slaming D Wright. His shoulder bother him starting in june. His numbers weren'i ihere before that. He was and is swinging very hard. I don't think that's an issue. He has had allot of bloop, bleeders and broken bat hits. He is not drivng the ball all year. Tell me you don' see that. Normally by now he would have 16 HR's, 81 RBI and a .308 average with 33 doubles. He has None of the above especially with RISP late in games. Now what I said is put those numbers to him and we are not 1,2,3 games out right now. This is what he waited for and he picks now to have a bad year? That's all Im saying. When we are bad we ALWAYS exonerate him. Well now he has to share the blame. Which 3rd baseman would love his numbers?
