6GB in last place, I am almost ready to give up on the season :{ when we reach 10GB it's over, that's alot of games to make up and 4 teams to pass, NEVER HAPPEN. Either this team will turn it on and win the next 7 or 8 games or they will lose the next 7 or 8 games, one way or another.

I have been saying ,  since last season that Hudgens needed to go. As for Valverde ? , It was a nice try that did not work out. The Wilpons need to allow Sandy to get the players he needs , which means opening the " bank " and stop getting other teams trash , otherwise it won't matter who's the GM or the MGR.

Wilpons/Sandy, if you guys start signing quality players hitting coaches/managers etc... will start looking a whole lot better. I'm not a huge Collins fan (as a manager) but they have little to work with right now. Its up to the wilpons and sandy to get mets better/talented/consistent players or these type of seasons will continue...

I'm not a fan of Hudgens, but I wonder if guys like Duda, and Chris Young, among others, are thinking about how their lack of hitting caused a man to lose his job.

Lol 4 teams ahead of them....Don't tell me you thought that this team had a chance to be in first or second or even third place going into this season..if you did think that I would love to know what gave you any kind of hope for this piss poor team.i mean you talk like it's a huge surprise where they are.the surprise was the way they played at the beginning the way they are playing now should be of no surprise to anyone really

Did you hear Alderson said the hitting philosophy will not change that's all you need to know .If you think the hitting coach has anything to do with this that's laughable

@Darrell Smith He spent money on Granderson Colon and Young. I dont want that idiot shopping he is an A's fan and has ties to them he just wasted mets money on those guys because he knows them from Oakland. Hudgens also worked for him.

@hankincolo  It seemed to bother Wright and Murphy but they were the ones being interviewed that I saw.
