Campbell is a great fit on this team and is taking advantage of every opportunity he gets something that Satin was unable to do.

It's time for the BIG TEASE! The team will threaten to play good, and give us false hope. Then when they have us all believing that they can make a run at it, they will fall apart and collapse. It is just more of the same old same :{

Campbell may be the Kevin Mitchell of this generation of Mets!

I think Soup is a natural hitter. He has a level compact swing and goes to all fields well. Great versatile bench guy.

@mets2death don't know what you are trying to say .. anyway, he had great at bats yesterday & as a naysayer, admit that he might do the job as a SS for the moment. Still need a good long term option ... but if continues like this (no gimme), he is adequate for the immediate future.

When Mitchell came up with the Mets, he was a consistent bat off the bench who could play multiple positions.

Campbell is last years Josh Satin.

Yes, but that's where the comparison ends. Campbell has been good but nowhere in Mitchell's league.

Mitchell's legacy was developed much more after he left the Mets. Don't forget that after having a marvelous season as a role player that Cashen was willing to package him for a "better" player.

One can't judge Campbell based upon a small snapshot of work. However, his play has been encouraging!
