I don't understand how everyone concedes that this is a bad team with multiple deficiencies in multiple areas, but has these high expectations of them at the same time.  either they're a team good enough to contend for the playoffs, or they're a likely cellar dweller with more questions than answers.  it's almost impossible for them to be both

Unfortunately it looks like Tejadas going to be getting more starts... All becauswnof a lucky, wind blown, Wrigley field homer. Collins probably thinks he's finding his power stroke. Dear god...

I don't know.  For me, when I come here and see the word "loss" in the headline, I could not possibly care less about Tejada's f-ing home run or Duda's flipping double.

@mets2death Exactly.  In Mets world, the very rare, flash of skills means that the player might be "getting it going."  Never mind the overall body of evidence against that player.
