First of all, this means you’ve been reading MetsBlog since 2005, and that’s awesome, so thank you. I appreciate it.
Second, it’s funny you mention this, because I literally just found the last one of these t-shirts in a bag of clothes I was going through while cleaning out my closet. Yikes. I mean, obviously I have to keep it, if for no other reason than it’s a token from that era. Also, any time I see the shirt, it reminds me of my first day with press credentials in Spring Training, when I forget I was wearing this very shirt during a Minaya press conference in the dugout with reporters. He looked at me and shook his head, as if to say, ‘Come on, kid, what are you doing to me?’ It didn’t even dawn of me until I got back to my hotel room. Oops.
I still wear the MetsBlog.com: One Team, One Million GMs shirt from time to time. That one, I assume, will never go out of style.
