Tuesday’s minor league recaps…

Rafael Montero is officially back. The right-hander had one of the most dominating performances of the season in the Pacific Coast League, throwing eight shutout innings, allowing just one hit, with 11 strikeouts and two walks.

He finished his night having retired 12 in a row and 18 of his last 19.

Montero hasn’t allowed a run in his last two starts, a total of 14 2/3 innings.
