Travis d’Arnaud has rediscovered his swing

The first thing Travis d’Arnaud did after being sent to Las Vegas this past June was have a two-hour meeting with his Triple-A manager Wally Backman, hitting coach George Greer and pitching coach Frank Viola, according to reporter Marc Carig.

“He was putting so much undue pressure on himself that he just had to take a little time to step back,” Viola told Carig about d’Arnaud’s early-season struggles with the Mets.
