Besides that stupid dive by EY to allow a run and TC keeping Montero in after he was clearly gassed in the six, He would have only allowed 1 run and 4 hits

I m tired of this mets team not getting any hits it's unbelievable how bad this team is they said on they the sny broadcast the mets have blown 12 leads in only 38 games this season if they just won at least 6 of these games this team would be respectable and the metal errors on this team are unbelvible and if u guys think that they should move Daniel Murphy should move to first and Eric young should move to second then you could have Chris young in left the furture gold golver Juan lagares in center and grandy man in right

Comment below on what u think

we know the Mets have had their offensive woes, but give credit where credit is due...Tanaka is just nasty. sometimes you just gotta tip your cap.

I'm thinking granderson'a final stats are something like 225 18 60

Will david wright even hit 10 homers this year?

Had a feeling when Grandy lined out to right with Murph on second in the first, that might be the best scoring chance, and unfortunately that was the case. Tanaka, like many great pitchers, tends to give up early damage and then gets stronger. Tonight was no different.

Wilmer and Soup tomorrow, I hope.

How the heck did they manage to get 4 hits off this guy?

He's lights out.

He's 5-0 against other teams as well. We were going to lose.

When will Wright become a clutch player again. He has been anything but clutch ALL YEAR!

Mets got beat by a VERY good pitcher.  Even the stupid mistakes would not have mattered.

Recker Duda duhNO Tejada the list goes on of guys the mets have starting that shouldn't be on a major league roster

they should bring the fences in at citi field a little more so the mets can hit home runs at there home ballpark  that why they do not win a lot at there ballpark at home

Tanaka will be lights out all year

We need a female voice on this site

@ponzies86 If Montero was clearly gassed, how did he retire the next three hitters easily on nine pitches after the Tex homer? Thought he looked fine and 108 pitches isn't that much really.

I'd trade him for Xander Bogarts.

Yeah, Montero is good. But we need a good young hitter.

Don't worry. They're in the woodwork waiting.

Did you watch the game tonight? What line-up would you have put against Tanaka?o

@Kyle Suta  he's on pace for more RBI's than that...the rest sounds about right.

then again, his May numbers are leaps and bounds better than his April numbers, so it's hard to say what his numbers will be come season's end.

They have gotten beat by freaking tom Koehler like 4 times. Anyone can beat the mets. I appreciate your effort but you can't be optimistic about this team.

Dey should bring in da fences at Citifield so dat de Opposition can hit more home runs.

Hahaha that's hilarious. Never gonna happen

Not at fielding we need his glove in there at all times and he is hitting over 300

Kyle Suta

Well hopefully he gets better and better. If the mets are going to keep us watching for another month or so he needs to be the hitter they are paying him to be.

@kefhrny17  david wright is an average hitter now? that's a first.

I'm sorry but if you come to play American ball from some other country, your stats elsewhere should not be caculated into your stats when playing here.

Everybody is so mad, he's nasty.

I agree however he has been striking out in these types of situations a lot more than usual. He has a decent average but is still not getting hits in situations like this.

@stemog @nymess @kefhrny17  ohhhh, well my mistake then. he's always been well above league average in slugging, and the season is young yet. he'll come around.

290 10-15hr and 90rbi is not worth 20+m. I know he's a great defender but his arm sucks and almost every throw to 1st has to be scooped out of the dirt.

Kyle Suta
Kyle Suta

I like him but he is worth about 12-14m not 20+

@kefhrny17 Yeah the guy was dealing. Scary thing, I've seen him have better stuff than he had tonight. He just has great command.
