Time to turn the sound down on the Met game. Is it Keith Hernandez self promotion night in Miami, again? This guys ego is larger than life.

Funny-Ron and Gary trying to fake an interest in the music of 50 cent. This is what you do when you announce for a AA baseball team that can't hit.

CY has to put the puck in the net there.  I mean Nash.

That will be #1 on the list of moments Ranger fans look back to when they eventually lose this game

Ok, from my time as a Rangers season ticket holder....

Rangers are playing the Islanders and a little girl, about 4, is playing in the aisle, not watching the game, just running up and dien the steps. She's wearing an Iskanders jersey like a dress. It almost touches the ground

She runs up the aisle and bumps into the legs if Manny, an ex-con, construction worker Rangers fan who's about 6'6 and 300 pounds. She looks up at him with big blue eyes. He looks down at the waif and shouts "F YOU!!!"

Gotta love Rangers fans.

I am a Devil fan, but the Rangers are making their fans proud. Lundquist has been phenomenal in OT. If they can pull this one off with #6 at MSG...

@Jason Smith  Nothing he could do on that rebound. Anyone would've put that in the back of the net except for Nash

@theglider How do you know Manny's an ex-con?  Is it on his business card? OR.......are YOU Manny?

Brian Webster

@Marc Singleton  HAHAHA yeah I clicked over there too a little earlier cause I was like why am I talking Rangers on Metsblog. Then I was scrolling through looking for the post where everyone was and there was barely any comments anywhere so I came right back here

@metsmlb  No brushes at Citi.  Wasn't in the budget for the Wilpons.  It was brushes or braces for Jeffrey.

Brian Webster
Brian Webster

@theglider  Yeah I think that's safe to say at this point unless the Mets invent a way to lose runs they've already scored. If any team can it'd be them LOL

I know , that's the reason its gotta suck. He played his heart out while the Rangers went into their defensive shell again. It's like watching the Mets pitching . Can only do so much.

Please. I don't want to get booted from here. Of course he said it and very loudly.

@Brian Webster @Marc Singleton I guess the die hard Ranger fans are too busy stressing out over the game to be bother with making comments on a blog.  Its easier to do watching a baseball game.  Especially when its the Mets and we don't really want to watch them play anyway! Haa!

@Jason Smith Just about the only other sport where one guy can do so much and have no control in getting a W

We all had season tickets together for 3 years. Section 417. Mannys Crew were all hard hats and some had served time.

Here's one, years ago Rangers are playing Montreal. My buddy is the cousin of the Canadiens Marc Tardiff. He's yelling in Canadiens French and English for Montreal. I'm telling him shut up, getting hit by Beer, chicken bones, everything. made the SOB move. I smelled terrible. Love Rangers fans. He hot hit by someone to end the night.

@metsmlb @Jason Smith  Well of any sport the goalie in hockey has the most control over the outcome of a game. I mean unless you want to say an NL pitcher can hit a solo HR and pitch a complete game shutout I guess. But other than that it goes to the goalie because he can stay in the whole game no matter how long it goes where a SP can't

Jason Smith
Jason Smith

I think it's actually more difficult for the goalie. A pitcher faces batters one at a time. Tonight it seemed as if the Kings had more men on ice.

Brian Webster
Brian Webster

@Jason Smith  I'm not talking about difficulty just control of a game. And if a goalie just never allows a goal even if it goes 6OTs or something eventually his team will score to win the game. A SP even if he doesn't allow a R isn't going to stay in the game past say the 10th inning at most while a goalie is in there for the duration.
