Since Flores and T. are both righties, it is fair to split the weeks between the two.  Flores is learning the position, he needs to observe from the bench...IMO Flores has a major league glove but his range still AA. But if he is well positioned like Jeter is, he will play a decent ss. and I love his simple and not complicated swing.

I like the starting rotation with Degrom and Montero in it.  And more so I love the bullpen now with familia and mejia at the back end.  Now lets keep this batting linup campbell in left, grandy coming around, and pls pls pls keep flores in at short.  At least we can feel a hit coming with him unlike Tejada where we knew an out was on its way.

Wait - WAT??? I just got home from work and had to check the score three times! We beat Greinke? Wow! Good for the Mets! Thrilled we won! Now let's try and take a few series. Niese - pitcher AND hitter??? Way to go!

I just exploded in an extremely joyful laughter watching Jenrry nail that strikeout and celebration to follow. He'll thrive

Im hoping Grandy can keep this hitting up....he hasn't been useless the last few games

Keeping Valverde around to practice celebrations with Mejia. He hasn't gotten it down yet.

That's not exactly shooting an arrow, or untucking a shirt huh Mejia?

Lol we beat a starter that had one of the most historic runs in ML history, albeit with the help of some bad defense. Mets dont surprise me anymore haha.

Well folks, looks like we found ourselves a closer.  I won't even mention that I suggested this in February.

Mejia is going to become a special closer if he can keep himself healthy

Is Van Slyke Andy's son?

Wright has 5 hits in 2 games and fielded everything. And he still has critics in here?

That would work if there was a better player to learn from. He's better than Tejada

But you know how that ended.

@monstah  Well technically they didn't beat Greinke as he didn't take the loss the Dodger BP did. But yes I was just as shocked the Mets won this game with him starting.

@cold_blue He really is a supertalented player, but i cannot know to give 75 percent to the first and 25% TO THE SECOND OR THE OPPOSITE AROUND!!!

Lagares in center, Flores at short, EYJR or Campbell in left. CY off bench. I'll speak on behalf of the whiners. We are happy tonight. Let's see how Terry screws it up tomorrow.

@Doubleday Still much prefer him as a starter.  Way more value.  Let's give him more than 2 saves before we go all gaga

@Doubleday  Well if your giving out credit didn't Jerry Manuel say it in like ST of 2010

@Steven Glansberg  yes.....if parnell can come back next year and prove he can be a closer, we may have a decent trade chip (parnell would be the trade chip)

No, a Mets fan. Why he gets blamed by fans is surprising.

He's hitting .300 and hits over .300 with men on base. Isn't that what a three hitter should do?
