I love how there seems to be a relatively stress free baseball game when I'm at work

You all need a good brain transplant !

They have to stop making simple mistakes. They can't drop a throw or hesitate on a double play ball. This team doesn't score enough to give away runs.

Glad we took that series.  Pains me that we weren't that far off from a 7 or 8 game winning streak...

Wait - we won a series!!! We did? Of course we did - because that's how Lamar rolls

So we head to Philadelphia for 5 games. If the pitching holds up they might have a chance.

Ya know, if Duda stretched on every one of those balls today-he catches them in the air. Maybe one to short hop.

Duda > Ike.  Today nails that down.

Isn't it about time for the Mets to invent an injury for CY?

Nice bomb from Duda, but they never seem to come when really needed.

My 4th through 6th...Duda, Abreu/Soup and Grandy.

Not that I'm a huge duda fan, but u can't say that was useless. Not the way they've blown games this year.

Baseball? Really? You can't discuss real baseball on this blog.

Exactly. They scored five runs on six hits. But they got walks and took advantage.

Well it was 3-0 at the time so the risk was lessened. If it was a one run game then yes...

@kefhrny17 Hey, I'm all for that they should have gotten a better 1B in the off season, but between Ike and Duda so far this season...

Tell that to the legion of runners he's left on when they were trailing.

@theglider I'd stop with the delayed steals and use more hit and runs. Make our guys concentrate on hitting the ball and it would open a few holes.

@theglider You just don't do it, IMO. It's a dumb play when a single makes it 4-0.
