two out of three from miami not bad at all. hopefully the pitching continues...and with a few clutch hits we can take 3 of 4.

Kirk bangs a double off the wall and sits today vs. a RHP. That's Terry being Terry. Start a BAD VET over younger talent.Don't reward the younger guy.

I think you're right, Kevin, but improvement probably will have to come from within...d'arnoud and Legares.

If the Mets can do anything to improve their lineup, they have the pitching to make a run, but I don't have a lot of hope that they will.

Nice film of jacob getting congrat from teammates on way into clubhouse. They seem like a tight group. If some of them could hit it would be a team you can get behind.

Now go get a power bat Sandy

Perhaps the most satisfying win of the year.

Just my first time spending time here. Didn't think there was anything said that was a big problem. Maybe I missed the bad stuff, but seems easy enough to just skip over and move on. After all, we're Mets fans, sadly used to suffering!!!!

Happy deGrom finally got some run support. He's had several solid outings where he deserved a win

Nice win. Let's hear how some people complain about it.

They took the error away from Wright. That's right.

@eric88 you are on the money...Collins has demoralized our young players so much so, they can't perform under him..  look what D'arnaud is doing in triple a,..he is crushing it.. Backman has him batting 2nd and 3rd, not 7th and 8th

That's Alderson's choice, for Pete's sake.

@Dr. Jonathan Reefer This isn't bad. It's just that Lagares isn't really a leadoff guy and is needed further down in the order-like 6th-so he could drive in runs. The only leadoff guy they have is EY.

I'd start with EY leading off and have Lagares 6th. Let Campbell start vs some LHs.

And Flores when he gets regular playing time.

@Joe Wenzel I believe there's something called the Stork Test.  Wonder if it applies to pitchers.

It almost looks like Duda had it in his glove but then fell over?!

It was an amazing effort to glove that ball

@Joe Wenzel  Actually the kid is really humble for being so young and I believe he is very religious.  He likes to be called Jacob and not Jake.he has a real good way about him

@Joe Wenzel @Dr. Jonathan Reefer due to his length he can easily match Tejada's limited range.

@Joe Wenzel @Dr. Jonathan Reefer OK, but he does have to show he has the better stick. I know it's hard to hit when you play so irregularly. Feel that way about Campbell. I wouldn't mind him playing a bunch of games in a row, but I do think Tejada has more range and is better defensively.
