Lannan's outing should open a door for Mejia or Montero in the modified rotation.  Lannan is a middle reliever.  Any other team would recall Syndegaard ASAP.

Remember, the guys who went to Vegas will all likely have the day off, but if Flores isn't starting at SS tomorrow, I'll not be happy.

I am starting to think of a new hobby LOL.. I don't understand how everyone in baseball. every announcer I have seen call a mets game every "smart guy" on the MLB network, ESPN,cbssports all of them are stating the obvious about 1st base and SS,yet it seems like the only people who can't see are the ones who have to be able to..I have faith in Sandy to a point. I refuse to be fed a line OF BS every season we are from Upstate NY ( way upstate Syracuse area) and have always made the trip at least 10-15 times a year for games.. this is the 1st time since 1988 I haven't planned any trips and I refuse to. they have made some moves but they didn't increase the payroll. when there where legit chances to do so. after three Years of wait till 2014 and now this!!!!!!  I will always bleed Mets colors but I am done financially supporting them.. there is my Rant for another day of Ruben at SS

Lutz needs to hit three HRs in a game just so the story can be titled Triple Lutz

Minor League baseball at it's best. Is Mrs. Phelps running the Mets? Please don't make me explain who Mrs. Phelps is. LOL

when your owners have no money to spend you get Ruben as your ss.

couldn't be any simpler.

Wilpons are the problem.  the budget is ridiculous for a major market.

there is no ss on the roster now.  Flores can't play short.  Ruben  can't play short so you have nada.

If Ny wants a ss they have to bite the bullet and trade young arms for one.  it's not rocket science.

it already is absurd, and technically insane by definition.

Tejada with 4 errors in 8 games is turning into a joke.  I don't know how they can possibly be considering starting the season with this guy in the lineup.  Hopefully he makes a couple more today.  If it gets to the point where it is literally absurd, maybe they'll have to make a move.

Enough with Ruben Tejada though dAm. I don't get what they see in him.

Um, why is Tejada still in Mets camp?

@Dr. James DiTuna "its ok, he almost made a little contact and spring error total is only double his number of spring hits.  We still believe he's our guy and he'll be ok if he just makes some more adjustments mentally" - TC

I think he might be a better bench option instead of EYJ

@lindro88 So far this spring, Tejada has twice as many errors (4) than hits (2)

@Dr. James DiTuna  Let him play, the more he plays, the more it will become evident that something has to be done.  I don't care if we bring in a cheap, all glove, no bat guy.  Just as long as we have someone capable of playing the position like a major league player.

@Dr. James DiTuna  That is what I am hoping.  I really can't imagine they will start the season with Tejada at SS.  They still have plenty of time to make a move.  Forgetting his bat, his inability to get through two games without making an error is something I've never seen before. This isn't some big prospect, who has a great bat, so we have to live with some growing pains.  This is a backup middle infielder for a triple A team.
