Good to see Duda have a great game. For his sake hopefully he can keep this up next year as well. Can't forget Ike had 32 HR year then never was the same when pitchers adjusted.

I never doubted Duda...even when most fans said''hes not a ML hitter''... would be nice to have another legit 30 hr guy in the lineup!

Did Terry Collins yet again go down the bench to personally shake Tejada's hand?

Amazing, Stanton has 94 RBI's hitting in that lineup and Ball park. The guy is just incredible.

Trumbo batting .308 in August with 14 RBIs in 78 ABS or an RBI every 5.5 ABs-which is outstanding. And that's with only 1 HR this month. He's an RBI machine.

In his career he averages an RBI every 6 ABs.

@jojo218 Before CarGo ended up done for the season because of his alarming knee surgery and sprained ankle he was having a putrid year and Trumbo currently has 8 whole home runs and has played a grand total of 57 games this year.  I also severely doubt this team trades for Castro, and I'm basing that simply on what this team has historically done.

@jojo218 but Wright has one off year and everyone thinks he sucks...and that he will never be good again

That's true but we have morons like Jim Steele who get wet quickly.

Chris Davis still has a bunch of home runs his batting average is very low

@Vincent Santiago @jojo218 i definitely doubt we will get anything close to what we need in the offseason. maybe management actually does something and surprises us. but we all know too well that more often than not they come up short. i understand the solution is not simple considering what the payroll is currently at. but we have plenty of prospects that are good who we can use in a trade to get a big name player. we have enough prospects to get two all stars.

at this point, i think that our only option is dealing with the possibility that one of our prospects gets traded and becomes a great player. although this isn't an ideal predicament, it is completely plausible. just think about conferto, syndergaard, campbell, montero, herrara, etc. that is more than enough to get legit veteran players to go with our young pitching staff. once you make that trade, then you just gotta go out and add a free agent. then harvey comes back. then maybe we'll have something to talk about. maybe

@ponzies86 or (with all due respect) people like you who never have anything positive to say. You bashed Duda last week because he was in a small slump

I think that's all us mets fans, our expectations are so low when even a little winning streak happens we all overreact

Not only valley fever but pitchers adjusted to Ike. They will do the same to Duda just hope he can keep improving and adjust as well in game

Ball park is not bigger then Marlins Park so stop it and Duda couldn't hold Stanton jock strap please dude go away or lay off the crack.

Oh you mean like the 4 of 5 in Philadelphia? Or the game when TDA came back against Oakland and hit a bomb with CY? Or was it the time going Into August when we were only 5 under and 6 out?
