Thursday’s minor league recaps…

Thursday night in Las Vegas Rafael Montero showed the dominating form that made him one of the top pitching prospects in the organization. The right-hander threw a season-high 6 2/3 innings without allowing a run and just three hits, while walking two and striking out six .

It’s his best outing since May 25, when he threw six innings of one-run ball for the Mets against Arizona.
