David Wright is expected to appear at the winter meetings Wednesday, along with Jeff Wilpon, for the formal announcement of Wright’s eight-year, $138 million contract, ESPN New York’s Adam Rubin reported tonight.

Sandy Alderson told reporters in Nashville that Wright took a physical on Monday.
