Andrew Vazzano, SNY.tvWe’ll be launching a new commenting system and social media tools across the SNY.TV network of sites today, which includes MetsBlog.
In a partnership with Livefyre, our commenting system will be overhauled, while adding new tools to better track the pulse of sports social networks, including players, beat writers and official team accounts. From chat rooms to live blogs to social media streams, these new additions will better connect you to your favorite sports teams and our writers to the 24/7 news cycle.
What’s different? You will now be able to log into our comments using an SNY, Facebook or Twitter account. This will help the conversation stay on topic and let the best discussions rise to the top and enrich the reading experience. This will also include a consistent commenting policy that will be applied to all team sites with better, stricter moderation tools.
To start commenting, hit the comments section and click “Sign In” (on the left, above the comment box). There, you will be prompted to sign in with either your Twitter, Facebook or SNY account. If you don’t have a Twitter or Facebook account, click “Login with SNY.tv” to create a new account, fill out the form, supply a nickname and you’ll be in!
We’re excited to take this first step in upgrading your experience and I hope you’ll enjoy what’s to come…
