Dear Mr.'s  Wilpon and Alderson:  The definition of INSANITY:  Doing the same thing and expecting different results.  Please ...offer us some hope.  90 wins?  Without Matt?  Without a SS?  Without a legit 1B?  Get the kids up in mid-June and let's get this thing started.

Scores and wins don't matter. Execution and fundies is what we as fans should be looking for. Montero and DeGrom both looked excellent hitting their spots. Both Muno and Seratelli are showing why they aren't starting middle infielders. Both Duda and Davis seem to be on their toes knowing what is on the line.

I have truly enjoyed the snippets of Brandon Nimmo that I have seen. The kid is HUGE and seems to have a decent read on the ball in the outfield. You can tell the outfielders as a group have been coached to work on going back on a fly ball as even Lagaras and Grandy are playing rediculously shallow.

I kmow it is only ST, but, 0-3? It is not giving me much hope, and, the way they are blowing games and getting blown out. When the season starts and the METS go 7-0 this will all be forgotten :}

It's Spring Training. I understand that. Still, it doesn't feel good in that clubhouse that they aren't even competing w/ the other clubs. Slightly nervous. But again, it's Spring Training...

Year 4 of the waiting for the Ike, Duda break thru. Folks, you will keep waiting for those plow horses. Sandy you put, put Flores at 1st base everyday. Is he better? You don't care, ahh, but he's cheaper. To think, you actually tried to trade Ike. No wonder you don't make trades. After that no one can take you seriously.

This team needs to address the lack of a short stop and soon, for the love of God, sign Drew or make a trade for Franklin already!  the mighty Ike Davis went 0-3 with 2 more strike outs, wonder whose whose winning the battle of the lummoxes Ike or Duda?

I know it's the Spring, but the offense is non-existent. I always thought it was the pitchers who needed to catch up.

This offense will be dreadful this year, just like last year. Only two of the nine lineup spots can hit above .250.

I haven't been able to watch any of the games yet. Can anyone tell me how Granderson looks at the plate?

Reuben, Ike, Dudu, Dice K, Lannen, Seratelli, Q, etc. Hey, Sandy, wasn't there a guy released by the Astro,s this winter, I can't remember his name, but anyway we didn't get. What happened???

They both have hit homers, which means we'll be hearing about what they're capable of doing for weeks. They can't hit but some fans are convinced they might.

@jlga  pitchers are always ahead of the hitters early on. everyone needs to calm down. Are we only happy when we're miserable?

@jlga  At what point will the "Dave Hudgens philosophy of hitting" be held accountable for the annual ineptness of the Mets offense? Can we not have an approach where the coaches adapt to the tendencies of their players rather than the continual forcing of square pegs into Mr. Hudgens' round hole? The results have simply never been there since this guy came on board.

@jlga and two of the better hitters Wright and Murphy have yet to play! what a joke of a team, pathetic shameful owners!
