flores is better than i thought.  still if he can't hit .280 plus  there is no room for him as a starter.  we need to make a deal.

Can we just have ONE GAME without drama?  Also looks to me like the Curse of Collins Overwork is staring to work its magic on Familia. You get the feeling that a better team than the Phillies would have pulled this out.

Nice to see Flores using his height for that stop and his soft follow-up throw to second. Recker's throw sailing into the outfield reminded me of d'Arnaud's throws. Recker's defense is usually better then that, and he remains a second-string back-up at best, despite showing some power. There's absolutely nothing to be lost playing a Flores-Herrera duo until the bitter end.
