Johan makes 1st rehab, says he 'felt good,' with video

According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, Santana’s next start should be on six days rest, again with Single-A St. Lucie versus Jupiter on Wednesday.

Johan Santana threw 33 pitches, 26 for strikes, over three scoreless innings in his first major league rehab start for Single-A St. Lucie tonight.

Santana struck out three, allowed two hits and hit a batter in his three innings of work.

In case you missed it, Terry Collins told reporters prior to today’s game, he hopes Santana will be able to return to the major league team by the end of August.
