Rob Johnson has contusion in hand, day-to-day

The Mets announced Rob Johnson injured his hand in yesterday’s 7-3 loss to the Padres.

According to the team, Johnson underwent an MRI at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan today and was diagnosed with a contusion in his hand.

Johnson is listed as day-to-day and will be treated for the swelling. He’s hitting .244 with four RBI over 45 at-bats this season.
