The Mets officially announced the signing of OF Chris Young to a one-year contract.

The Rays like Ike Davis, but the Rangers like David Price and can offer 1B Mitch Moreland to get him, which would take the Rays out of the running for Davis (Martino). However, the Rangers may be leaning towards keeping Moreland (Rosenthal).

The Rockies are shopping OF Dexter Fowler and are looking to acquire relievers and a hitter (Renck).
