Rex Ryan at Mets Game

i love when my worlds mix like this, i.e., my favorite football coach and GM throwing out the first pitch before my favroite baseball team’s game… or, like when Jimmy Buffet sits front row at a Heat game… mixing and mangling some of my favorite things with some of my other favorite things

also, you gotta love that he’s wearing a Nolan Ryan No. 30 jersey… slick

To see video of SNY’s Kevin Burkhardt talking to Ryan during the game, go here.

That's the problem with New York. They might be able to pull together a couple good minutes of basketball. maybe even a half. But until they can pull out a solid 48 minutes of play, they will not be able to become a strong basketball team. You can tell something's wrong when the highest plus minus of the whole team was a whopping 3.

This game should point out exactly why the knicks should not be discussing trading this years pick... The so called experts say things like there is no lebron, Durant, curry, or westbrook in this draft ... And with the exception of Lebron, none of those guys was a sure thing comin out of school. The Warriors are the best team in the NBA and have Curry, who we would have drafted and Thonpson who we also would have drafted if we were picking earlier. The best teams build through the draft not free agency and I'm afraid the Knicks will do something stupid.

We just got crushed in this one.  Golden State could have won the game by 50 plus points if they had wanted to.

I'm not sold that the Warriors are going to the finals though.  You definitely have to play them physically and rough them up a little bit, and not let them get into the open floor.  I think a team like Memphis, with some tough minded defenders and strong rebounding, would definitely have a decent shot of beating them in a seven game series.  If Memphis could get the Warriors into a half court game (which you typically see in the playoffs), it might be tough sledding for Golden State.

Should be interesting nonetheless.

@1harris1 Plus, if OKC sneaks in as the 8th seed, they could give Golden State a hard time. Both teams excel at running and gunning; Enes Kanter gives them a real low-post threat they didn't have before. With Durant returning soon, OKC could be very dangerous.
