Can argue with me that Sandy has no skills in drafting or trading to bolster the bullpen.

Do you think that the home plate umpire can make any other bad calls (or no calls that is)?  How many times has a National's player struck out in this opening day game and the home plate umpire didn't make the call (basically, the guy should have struck out)?  The last batter, Espinosa of the Nationals struck out on a pitch that the home plate umpire called ball four.  Just because the pitch wasn't where the catcher originally set up doesn't mean it's not a strike, especially when that final pitch to Espinosa went right over home plate clearly, and it was clearly within the strike zone.  Instead, the home plate umpire calls it a ball, then right on cue, the Nationals tie the game on the first pitch to the next batter.  The game should of been over, Mets Win!  It's ridiculous still in today's world with all this technology that we still rely on umpires who constantly miss calls.

Three inches of wet snow out here in Suffolk. Looks like Flushing got off easy.

I would never say that photography is an art, but there sure are ways of taking boring shots.
