According to SNY, Jose Reyes was at Tradition Field today for an informal workout, where he did some jogging, took batting practice, fielding ground balls, and did agility drills.
Reyes said he is not nervous, but, instead, he is excited to be back on the field for the first time since August.
“I’ve been doing so much of my rehab without the team,” he explained. “But, now, to be back with my team, is really exciting… I feel like a little kid, bro.”
He said he has nothing to be afraid of, “I’m able to do everything I want to do.”
…i am hoping to get some video of jose for MetsBlog later in the day… but, in either case, be sure to check out SNY’s SportsNite, which first airs at 10 pm…
Mike Jacobs and Daniel Murphy worked together, fielding ground balls at first base.
Jacobs also also took batting practice in front of hitting coach Howard Johnson.
