Note: Mets on Pace for 91 Wins

The Mets are off to a 17-13 start this year, and are 13-5 at Citi Field, and currently own a nine game winning streak at home.

However, they are just 4-8 on the road.

That said, the Mets are currently on pace for 91 wins this season.

…i know paces can change really quick, and a lot of things can happen and there’s a long way to go, but it’s hard to argue this team doesn’t have personality, character, fight, and a will to win…the last two days are indicative of what winning teams do, not so much of the walk-off home run, but the fact the Mets didn’t quit when they could have, after blowing late leads which could have been a demoralizing factor…

…the Mets need to find a way to take this attitude and winning brand of baseball on the road with them, because eventually, they will likely cool off at home…i know a couple of those losses, especially last week against the Reds couldve gone the Mets way with a little better execution, but right now, they are a totally different team when away from Citi Field and they have to find a way to be crisper and more consistent, and not let innings get out of control, like they’ve been able to do, for the most part, at home…

…they’re the same players, but instead of white, they’re wearing grey, so I don’t see why they can’t play better on the road…
