News: Reyes is Ready for Baseball

I should have video of Jose Reyes, courtesy of SNY.TV, at some point in the next hour.

Original Post at 10:58 am:

Reyes worked out on Long Island today.

According to SNY’s Kevin Burkhardt, he did five sprints, 90 feet each, and looked ‘great.’

From what I can gather, Reyes ran at full speed without a limp.

“That’s how I do it,” Reyes said, upon finishing his sprints. “I’m ready to play baseball.”

To see footage of Reyes, who SNY mic’d during the workout, check out SNY’s Daily News Live at 5 pm, as well as SportsNite at 10 pm.

@David Di Gesu good read, completely agree with the clearing review...the islanders have had some horrendous clearing attempts lead to goals- just watch the rangers, when they are penned in and need a rest they are content to ice the puck to get a quick rest then ice it again to get another rest...

@dimaio34 i was at the anaheim game.  i paid $100 (box office) but i had an awesome view.  322 row d.  a similar seat at msg would be crap by comparison, for example.

Yeah it's just horrible this is happening. What a rink. Tradition. Atmosphere. It's a hockey rink. Seems like the new rinks are just. LIBRARIES OF TECHNOLOGY.
