An MRI revealed that Bobby Parnell has a partially torn UCL in his right elbow. Parnell will rest for two weeks before beginning a throwing program. Daniel Murphy, who welcomed a baby boy named Noah on Monday, is expected to be placed on paternity leave prior to Wednesday’s game. Wilmer Flores has been called up to replace Murphy on the roster.
