According to the Buffalo Bisons, Ike Davis has been removed from today’s starting lineup.

According to ESPN New York, the Mets will promote Davis this week.
…so, i guess they’ll make a move once the bullpen freshens up, and re-sorts itself out… i figured they would wait on ike, at least letting time pass so his arbitration clock doesn’t kick in… but, desperate times call for desperate measures, it seems… i have no idea what they have against Chris Carter… i know, i know, he’s a butcher in the field, but so was Mike Jacobs, and the Mets knew this, and yet it didn’t stop them from breaking camp with jake on the roster… but, hey, if they’re comfortable burning ike’s shirt, and they believe he’s beyond his issue hitting left-handed pitching, bring him up… let’s do this, and see what’s what…
By the way, Nick Evans is batting .372 with three HR and 10 RBI in 10 games in Double-A.
