Minor leaguers getting invites to big league camp

Mets prospect Dustin Lawley has been invited to major league spring training as a non-roster player.

Lawley hit .262 with a .314 OBP, mostly playing with Double-A Binghamton in 2013. He hit 25 home runs with the B-Mets.


Lawley joins OF Corey Vaughn, IF Danny MunoLHP Jack Leathersich and RHP Logan Verrett as players who have been revealed to be attending camp.

Players not on the 40-man roster can attend major league spring training with invites to camp.

He didn't play for the b mets! He played for St Lucie and was then called up to Vegas, skipping the b mets all together!

is it me but was it Sandy who tried to get Kevim Escabar twice for 1 million a year for his first two years just to have him on rehab how did that work out. by the way he wants to pitch one more year before he calls it a career. Sandy are you listening.   We do not play in Mo. but show me. I want to see him pitch. lol
